STRUCTURE OF THE ALLIANCE
Steering Group
The Steering Group for the Alliance is an informal group of voluntary members drawn from the Alliance. Its purpose is to convene and initiate actions in pursuit of the Alliance’s vision and values as expressed in the Oxford Cultural Anti-Racism Alliance manifesto. The Steering Group is typically between 10-12 members, with a balance of members from the global majority, and including representation from local creatives and grassroots organisations as well as Oxford’s National Portfolio Organisations which receive regular funding from Arts Council England. Members serve a two to three year term and are rotated in a timely way to enable continuity. The Steering Group meets on a monthly basis and are supported as needed by working groups and project managerial and administrative support. The current members of the Steering Group are:
